DOES YOUR NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION INCLUDE GETTING HEALTHIER IN 2010? EDGE FITNESS HAS THE PLAN TO HELP YOU TAKE ON THAT CHALLENGE, AND WIN!
Post Falls, ID January 13, 2010—Edge Fitness of Post Falls has teamed up with The Boys & Girls Club of Kootenai County to challenge the community to live a healthier lifestyle. “With the current economy, people just don’t have the extra money required for the education, support and membership fees that are usually associated with getting fit and healthy. We have a plan to pull the community together and work as a team through the year, building new healthy habits and losing some weight for The Boys & Girls Club,” says Holly Childers of Edge Fitness.
The Edge Fitness Lifestyle Challenge is simple. For a one time registration fee of just $20, participants will receive support, motivation and education to complete activities that will build healthy habits and lead to healthier living. On the last Wednesday of each month in 2010 there will be a new challenge presented for the upcoming month, which will be announced at the “Edge Lifestyle Night.” These fun-filled nights are designed to educate and motivate participants for the upcoming challenge. Each participant will have their own Challenge Guide Book that will lead them through the entire year of challenges, as well as a t-shirt to wear, proudly displaying participation in the challenge.
The Edge Fitness Lifestyle Challenge 2010 will kick-off with a party at Edge Fitness on Wednesday, January 27th from 5:30-7:30. Here’s the fun part...Each participant will weigh in at the party and again at the end of the year. Every pound lost by the participants will raise money for the Boys & Girls Club of Kootenai County. The goal of this challenge is to lose a combined 2010 pounds during the year with money pledged toward each pound lost. It’s easy to get involved in this program that will build a healthier community and help the Boys & Girls Club break ground on their new facility this year! Registration forms are available at all sponsor locations, which include Edge Fitness & Mountain View Chiropractic, Pyramid Skate & Screen, The Black Book and The Boys & Girls Club of Kootenai County.
